I am the Financial Director at the Centre for Peace Studies, where I lead the organisation’s financial strategy and manage budgets and reporting for EU and international funds. I have over a decade of experience in financial and administrative coordination within civil society, bringing expertise in accountability and sustainable resource management. I believe strong financial stewardship is key to empowering organisations that advance human rights and social justice.

I work as a Social Advisor at the Cyprus Refugee Council, specializing in cases involving victims and survivors of torture, trafficking, gender-based violence, and other vulnerable individuals. As project manager in this initiative, I aim to strengthen organizational practices that promote trauma awareness, collaboration, and sustainability in refugee support work.

I work as a Clinical Psychologist at the Cyprus Refugee Council, providing specialized psychotherapy and crisis intervention to survivors of trauma. My experience drives my commitment to fostering trauma-informed, inclusive, and resilient Organizations where refugees and humanitarian workers feel supported and able to grow.

Head of HR & Admin, Estonian Refugee Council

I am the Head of HR & Admin in Estonian Refugee Council, where I lead employee wellbeing and empowerment projects, and develop global HR, procurement and administration related policies, as well as provide strategic leadership for the department. Our “Caring to Include” project with Erasmus+ is close to my heart, because I see everyday how dedicated and tireless our staff is working with people with refugee backgrounds, and I truly believe this project will help us provide the support needed to do this sustainably.

Social Protection Technical Lead, Estonian Refugee Council

I lead the social protection and empowerment team at the Estonian Refugee Council. My PhD explored memory cultures of vulnerable populations, and I’ve worked across research, cultural, and public institutions since then. I believe effective support begins by centering the lived experiences and voices of the communities we work with.

I lead the Programmes, Communications & Fundraising Department at the Greek Council for Refugees, supporting services that protect and empower refugees in Greece. My background in communication and long involvement in Scouting shaped my commitment to inclusion, shared responsibility and helping people build safer futures.

Psychotherapist, Conflict Resolution Trainer and Human Rights Advocate

I work at the intersection of mental health, restorative dialogue, and social justice. Drawing on my experience as a therapist, trainer, activist, and former member of the Greek Parliament, I am trying to support frontline workers, immigrants, and refugees, while advocating for mental health, human rights and a more inclusive society.

Project Manager - Caring to Include, Hungarian Helsinki Committee

I work as a senior project and fundraising manager and a trainer in the Refugee Programme of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. I have gained knowledge not only in project management and fundraising, but also in facilitating social engagement courses for refugee and Hungarian youth. This consortium is very inspiring for me as we can exchange knowledge among different countries and build material together to create trauma-informed, diverse and resilient work environments for the support of refugees and migrants.

I work as the Director of the Refugee Program at the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. My professional experience has shown me how central the well-being of our colleagues is to the resilience of our organization and our ability to provide assistance to refugees. I am motivated to create an inclusive and trauma-informed environment where both refugees and colleagues feel supported.

Director, aditus foundation

I am a human rights lawyer and Director of the small Maltese NGO aditus foundation. We work with refugees and several other communities experiencing hardship, and too often these hardships rub off onto my team. Justice, empathy and empowerment are three key drivers in my human rights work, being also important values aditus fosters for its team members.

Project Manager - Caring to Include, Dutch Council for Refugees

I am a Project Leader at the Dutch Council for Refugees, with a background shaped by both professional expertise and lived experience. I began my humanitarian journey in Syria with UNRWA and UNHCR as a Protection Specialist in Refugee Status Determination and Resettlement. In the Netherlands, I support refugee-led organisations in advocacy, capacity building, and training design. Leading “Caring to Include” is deeply meaningful to me, it brings together my professional path and commitment to strengthening inclusive, trauma-sensitive, and sustainable approaches within the refugee sector.
