Registration is now open for a public seminar, taking place in Brussels on 18 March,  which focusses on the role of refugee diasporas in development in their countries of origin and the resulting impacts on their host country. The seminar is organised by ECRE, the Danish Refugee Council and the Maastricht University Graduate School of Governance/UNU MERIT.

This seminar will bring together diaspora organisations, NGO partners and donors, and academics to discuss the involvement of diasporas in development cooperation.

The seminar is organised under the Domaid project, which aims to promote dialogue and advocacy between European NGOs involved in migration and refugee protection-related projects in third countries and the EU institutions.
